Mondays Good Things Utah segment for those who wanted to watch it…yummy-O waffles 💗
When we were little girls, we loved spending time in the kitchen with our mom. One of our favorite things to make was…WAFFLES! We’d make them for breakfast, lunch, dinner and anytime in-between. We loved having them on birthday mornings and sleepovers with friends. We’d cook up our waffles and top them with ice-cream and fruit.
When we were diagnosed in 2010 with Celiac’s, this was one of the very first recipes we adjusted. This took lots of trial and error…some days more error than anything! Too much flour mix created gooey waffles. Too little flour mix left flat, lifeless waffles…ugh! We kept at it, adjusting liquids and flours…until the perfect day came…and walla…heavenly waffles!!! Just like when we were little girls. Yes!!!
We had a blast on Good Things Utah this week! We always enjoy the kindness and fun times with the staff.
